Packages for X-CD-Roast 0.98alpha13

Please be sure ONLY to install the RPMs which are exactly for your platform. If there is not yet your linux distribution listed, then I would be thankful when you create that RPM for me.
Please send only RPMs you tested thoroughly - You may have to adapt the spec-file - This is only for experienced developers.

How to build your own RPMs?

To build RPMs that match exactly your system you need to have a compiler and the development version of the required libraries installed. (Usually called gtk+-devel, glib-devel and gdk-pixbuf-devel)

Now download the source RPMs (.src.rpm) and execute as root the following command:

rpm --rebuild filename.src.rpm
rpmbuild --rebuild filename.src.rpm

Note: On Suse-Systems you might have to add a "--nodeps" option to the call above, in the case rpm complains about a missing GTK-package, even when you have installed it.

The compile will be started and if everything went ok, the finished binary RPMs will be in your system RPM directory. (Read the last few lines of the rebuild output to see the exact path. In most cases this is /usr/src/packages/RPMS/i386/ or /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/)

Now you can install your new RPMs just like you had downloaded them.

How to install RPMs?

After you have downloaded all the RPMs for your distribution (or created them yourself), you have to install them.
First update the cdrtools-packages (unless you have newer versions installed) with the following command:
rpm -U cdrtools*.rpm
If this went ok, install the RPM for X-CD-Roast:
rpm -U xcdroast*.rpm
Note: You may get an error "cannot remove /usr/lib/xcdroast-0.98 - directory not empty" while updating. Please ignore, all is fine.

This was it! Have fun with X-CD-Roast!

All packages are now stored in browseable directories on SourceForge.
